Thank you for visiting my store! I have over 20 years experience (yikes! I feel old!) teaching speech and language to children in grades k About 5 years ago I opened a private practice which now serves over 60 children. I have taught courses at the university level, spoken nationally at professional conventions, and studied at the doctoral.   When teaching story grammar, especially with older students, I almost always include direct teaching about story structure (e.g., beginning/middle/end) and transition words (e.g., first, in the beginning, finally) as I think they really help solidify my student’s understanding of how stories work.
